The Preamble Today?

Are we living out the preamble in the constitution today?

During the late 18th century, Americans were faced with a government that was so disfuntional they were always in caos. For this reason they decided to create The Preamble. They created The Preamble to achieve 6 goals: form a perfect union, establish justice, insure domestic tranquility, provide common defense, promote the general warfare, and secure liberty to ourselves and our prosperity. I believe that Ryan D. Doerfler and Samuel Moyn were correct when the said that we should “not reclaim the constitution” because it implies “that there needs to be some higher law that is more difficult to change than the rest of the legal order.” So by having the bill of rights and the constitution it makes it easier
to change laws.
